"Can anyone build a rocker today that hasn’t been inspired by Sam? His design and his craftsmanship are wonderful. I think he taught me that working with one’s hands can add years and happiness to one’s life. Then there is attention to detail. All the great woodworkers have that. I believe it is the basic lesson one has to learn in order to make chairs. Think the thought all the way through, at least a couple of times. Furniture can function well and be beautiful. This kind of rocker does both."

It is made mainly of Cherry with Maple and Walnut accents with the hand rubbed natural finish giving it that wonderful soft feel. This is a very feminine rocker and would fit nicely in the nursery or even in the living room.
