Once we work out all the design details, we'll confirm this all with you.  Upon your acceptance, we have a simple contract and require a desposit to secure your position on our scheduling calendar.

Depending on what’s in the studio/shop we usually need 8-14 weeks to build your project.

We will contact you prior to shipping to confirm all the details including insurance and give you a firm price from a shipping firm we trust. The final payment is required prior to shipping.

If your piece or cabinetry is delivered within Virginia, sales tax has to be collected.  For items delivered or shipped outside Virginia there is no sales tax collected by our company.

A furniture maker knows wood is a living organism and as such is subject to an endless variety of color and variation. This is not a defect but an inherent part of the material, something we think should be celebrated.

A cabinet maker knows the above but says it a little differently. He knows variation is a characteristic and the nature of wood. He wants you to keep in mind that any sample you get is a representation of color or tint. Your actual cabinets may vary slightly in the lightness and darkness of the wood or the tint you have chosen.

We warranty our cabinets to be free from manufacturer defects for a period of 1 year from the date of delivery.  If, in the course of regular use the cabinets become damaged or cease to work properly, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the cabinet and/or hardware causing the problem.  There is always expansion and contraction of solid wood panels, as in door panels.  With this, there could be a resultant minor change in finish which is not covered by our warranty.  We often recommend the use of an MDF panel in raised panel doors for painted cabinets to eliminate this problem.  In addition, if problems arise after the warranty period has ended, please feel free to call us.  In most cases, like replacing a broken hinge or adjusting a drawer, we would not charge anything to repair these things but we reserve the right to cover our costs in extreme cases.  We want your cabinets to be in full working order for as long as you own them.
