Galax Gazette features local furniture maker, Richard Weigand and his award winning rocker.

Our local newspaper ran this article in 2008. It was a very good profile of Richard and his recent work. In particular, the article featured two peices - his sculptured rocking chair and a desk made for a former White House Press Secretary.

This issue of Style 1900 magazine has a special feature on the wonderful Greene & Greene designed home of 1906 in Pasadena, CA.  Richard Weigand was fortunate to be commissioned to replicate the entry hall furniture.  One of the entry hall chairs can be seen in the picture to the right.
